T-shirt #045 - RUSH

Rush was a Canadian rock band consisting of Geddy Lee (bass, vocals, keyboards), Alex Lifeson (guitars), and Neil Peart (drums, percussion). Formed in 1968
RUSH played complex compositions and were great great musicians. When touring with KISS in the early days they did not participate in the rocjk and Roll myths of sex, drug etc... they just played... respect!

Great great guys from Canada!

Rush - Tom Sawyer (Official Music Video)

Moving Pictures remains Rush's highest selling album in the United States after it was certified quadruple-platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) for over 4 million copies sold. "Limelight", "Tom Sawyer" and "Vital Signs" were released as singles across 1981, and the instrumental "YYZ" was nominated for a Grammy Award for Best Rock Instrumental Performance.

Neil pert died January 7, 2020 in Glioblastoma, also known as glioblastoma multiforme.
GBM is the most aggressive cancer that begins within the brain.

Not only was he an excellent drummer but also open to getting better even late in his carrier as he started to take drum lessons studying jazz, with Freddy Gruber in 1994. Respect!

T-shirt #044 - Textures

Textures were a Dutch metalcore band 2001-2017.
I started to listen to them after their Awake video.

Textures had a complex and innovative style, influenced by progressive metal and metalcore. They also incorporated melodic interludes and experimented with a wide variety of electronic atmospherics. On their first release, Polars, they also experimented with ambient soundscapes, before fusing the ambient and riffs together more closely on later releases.

T-shirt #043 - Depravity

Depravity is from Perth, Western Australia.
And their logo is difficult to read...ergo...it is a death metal band ;-)

Death metal was meant to be an assault on the senses but somewhere along the way bands started taking it easy, getting complacent. Enter DEPRAVITY from Australia. They show us how it's to be done, to play devastating death metal without straying from the genre's roots. This is what MORBID ANGEL should've sounded like today. There's no going back or forth. This is it. This is the fiercest expression of death metal while remaining relevant. Vile, twisted and deafeningly heavy, 'Evil Upheaval' is one of the most powerful albums you'll bear witness to this year!

I LOVE opeth and I have seen them many times. Some of the records are just pure gold and magic ....but still, I have not really listened to them for at least 5 years now
a bit like Dream Theatre... you know the goodness, but it also a bit "booringly good"...

Deliverance

Still Life and Blackwater Park are my favourite albums..

Blackwater Park

and Ghost Reveries

and of course Mikael Ã…kerfeldt himself ... a bit like Devin Townsend
