T -shirt #53 - Dream Theater

basically no need to introduce this band, right

when I heard Images and Words the first time a was hooked
I have seen them many times

but it is a bit like with Meshuggah, I LOOVE them, nut do not listen to them very often

however I love the videos on their drum auditions

Ihlo is a great progressive metal band with electronic and pop influences...some parts are really heavy and other parts are more groovy and melodic 

I discovered them on bandcamp ...and being a fan of Tesseract I embraced them at once :-)

T-shirt #045 - RUSH

Rush was a Canadian rock band consisting of Geddy Lee (bass, vocals, keyboards), Alex Lifeson (guitars), and Neil Peart (drums, percussion). Formed in 1968
RUSH played complex compositions and were great great musicians. When touring with KISS in the early days they did not participate in the rocjk and Roll myths of sex, drug etc... they just played... respect!

Neil pert died January 7, 2020 in Glioblastoma, also known as glioblastoma multiforme. 
GBM is the most aggressive cancer that begins within the brain.

Not only was he an excellent drummer but also open to getting better even late in his carrier as he started to take drum lessons studying jazz, with Freddy Gruber in 1994. Respect!

T-shirt #044 - Textures

Textures were a Dutch metalcore band 2001-2017. 
I started to listen to them after their Awake video.


Textures had a complex and innovative style, influenced by progressive metal and metalcore. They also incorporated melodic interludes and experimented with a wide variety of electronic atmospherics. On their first release, Polars, they also experimented with ambient soundscapes, before fusing the ambient and riffs together more closely on later releases.
